Programmed Interface Compression: Strip the Codebook
Programmed Interface Compression is the phenomenon in which two parties sharing an engineered, evolving codebook can shrink their messages toward near-nothing because the shared state carries the meaning.
The test
Remove the maintained shared reference and repeat the same short message. If correct reconstruction collapses, the reference was carrying meaning. If performance does not change, the claimed compression may be a fixed shortcut or unsupported inference.
Evidence ceiling
This test shows dependency on shared state. It does not by itself prove wisdom, truth, safety, or general understanding.
